I would never have guessed.<\/p>\n<p>Of course magazine holders can be used to hold other items, such as my collection of laminated rejection letters etched with the salt of a million tears, but if I were to label a magazine holder <em>which is holding magazines<\/em> then I would be tempted to go for something slightly more specific, such as <a title=\"Bacon Busters\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sportingshooter.com.au\/news\/new-bacon-busters-out-now-with-our-free-babes-and-boars-calendar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Bacon Busters 2014-15<\/a>, instead of using the generic and, let&#8217;s face it, somewhat unhelpful Magazines tag. But maybe that&#8217;s just me.<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s also very obvious here is that there are no magazines being held by the magazine holders. The magazines have been set free, unbound, to go who knows whither. As alluded to <a title=\"When magazine holders die\" href=\"https:\/\/deadreal.com.au\/dead_things\/when-magazine-holders-die\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">earlier<\/a>, the empty abandoned magazine holder speaks volumes about the demise of the printed magazine as a collectible item and, with the passing of the magazine, the magazine holder becomes equally redundant (unless, of course, you use them to hide bottles of whisky, or those friendly notes you get in the mailbox from real estate agents asking if you&#8217;ve ever considered moving because, quite frankly, you don&#8217;t deserve to live where you do and some other cashed-up fucker is busting to take your place and the only sensible course of action is for you to simply pack up your things and haul your sad ass out of the neighbourhood&#8230; sorry, where was I?).<\/p>\n<p>Like I was saying, the absence speaks louder than words here. Yeah.
