It’s intriguing how one part of a broom is worn away faster than the rest of it. How does that happen? Is it a weak spot in the bristles or simply an area that is made to work harder than the rest?
There’s a chameleon-like quality to this broom too, as if the head has taken on the colour and texture of the kerbstone as camouflage, like a sniper.
From time to time, it is possible to look beyond the object and see the pattern, as if everything is really just a 2D abstraction rather than a random collection of discrete, concrete objects.
