The challenge when dumping vacuum cleaners is that they comprise two distinctively incompatible parts: the short squat body and the long bendy tail. It’s easy enough to position the carcass but then there’s what to do with the waggly, wobbly bit. It’s never straightforward knowing how to place it neatly, so what should be a nice clean dump always looks more involved, more staged, than it should.
Somebody thought about where to put that hose. Not for long, admittedly, but for an instant the issue was considered and deliberated upon.
